Many changes have been brought about by text-based GenAI tools like ChatGPT and the many similar tools produced since its release. Those teaching in higher education have certainly had to contend with the changes that these tools have brought. In the hopes of supporting faculty as they face teaching in the age of AI, a GenAI and Teaching Toolkit has been created for faculty. How It Began During the Spring 2023 semester, I noticed that numerous popular social media sites, including TikTok and Instagram, highlighted K-12 educators working in the field promoting the use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), like ChatGPT and Google Bard. They were speaking to their audience of teachers about how to create lesson and unit plans, assessments, rubrics, and more.
