Providing Feedback That Students Will Use

Feedback is valuable but only when students take advantage of it. In this session, presenters will provide examples of how and when to provide useful feedback to your students and discuss several grading tools that can make the process more efficient.

Open and Affordable Teaching and Collaboration – Two Examples

This session will present two faculty approaches to working with open and affordable educational materials. Half of the session will focus on potential sources of OER materials for Math and Statistics courses, while the other half will discuss the structure and benefits of forming a community of practice among your peers to support and explore your work with OAER.
